I archived all the old Hungry Witches entries, but I'm leaving this one up in memoriam because it still makes me smile. Hopefully, new food and tarot adventure will follow.
Hungry Witches! Hide Your Babies!
Witch Nosh!
No! We won't eat your babies, only nibble on their toes! However, an adventurous witch needs to stop for sustenance, and along with a good meal, she needs a table to spread her tarot cards out on! Here are some places we eat regularly or have recently discovered!
First off, we have to put a shout out to Hobee's where we used to eat regularly. The Campbell Hobee's (RIP) was the one we most often frequented. Everything was great, but Molly was partial to the Cheesy Scramble w/ the blueberry coffee cake. Hobee's has a CCOUS! (Coffee Cake of Unusual Size!) They have wonderful spicy hot tea and the staff is super sweet!
We used to read each other's cards there comfortably and openly! But even Hobee's wasn't be perfect! Molly laments their use of bell peppers in many items, Lorelei wished they would just leave the teapot on the table and we'd both have been happier if they stayed open later.
Our dream is to live above a 24 hour Hobee's with room service!
Cheesy Scramble? Yes please!
*photo link of Hobee's CCOUS comes from a blog called The Sugar Sleuth! Sadly, this blog petered out in 2010, but you can still check it out HERE.
