What I Need To Stay Afloat in May 2019
Listen, I am an excellent tarot counselor. Since I am carless, it's one of the few things I can do for money right now. I stupidly went to the store for a couple items when I was hungry and bought way more of groceries than my budget had room for yesterday. The upside, I won’t go hungry for the next week, maybe week and a half. However, this tips my budget further into the red zone! I was already in trouble!
Please consider getting a reading or recommend me to your friends. My readings start as low as $5 but on average people spend $40-65 on an in depth reading. Sliding scale is something I’m open to. If you decide you'd like some tarot counseling, besides getting some insight, the money you spend on an in depth spread could go to help me with:
(* signifies most urgent things About $110-170)
(* signifies most urgent things About $110-170)
Order a reading between $30 - $100 and you could help me with:
- ***My prescriptions $45 If I don’t pick them up by Sunday, they will go back into stock. This is for 5 prescriptions. They will last me 2 ½ - 3 months.
- ***My cell phone, due on 4/16 $40
- ***The remainder I need to pay my storage $60
- LiLi’s prescription food, she’ll need it in a couple of weeks (lasts about 2 ½ months) $40
- Car insurance $40 (It’s higher this month because my battery is dead and they can’t get a signal)
- ****My transportation costs $30 - $50
- More groceries $50 - 100
Order a $10 - $25 reading and you could help with:
- *****My cat’s meds, one month supply, due in a week. She cannot miss any pills: $22
- I could get much needed toiletries. I could go to Ross and get good quality shampoo , conditioner soap and face lotion on the cheap $25-30
- I could get my prescription deodorant $15
That’s around $380 I am desperately short this month, not counting the loan I still owe for or whatever it will cost to get my car battery charged or replaced and definitely not for the major repairs. This is just survival. I’m not wanting to spoil myself. I’d rather do something to earn money:
This boils down to: 19 $20 readings, 13 $30 readings 9 $45 readings or just shy of 7 $60 readings and I’d be out of the hole.

In person readings: There are a few places that are walking distance for me: I can meet in person if someone wants to sit by Lake Merritt, picnic style. I might even manage to set up tea. We can also meet at Haddon Hill Cafe, though it’s a very small space. Sometimes it’s hard to get a table. Lakeview Cafe is my preferred spot, but they are closed. I can walk to Merritt Station on Grand or Peet’s on Lakeshore, but it is a more difficult walk. If my roommate is around, borrowing the car may be an option and I could go further. I can also do online readings.
If you want to just donate, I’ll take it. As usual the only ways I can take payment right now are GooglePay or PayPal [email protected] or Square $LMoon (or my phone number) If 25 friends sent me $15 (or ordered 3 - 5 card readings) that would give me a lot of breathing room.
