I'm not going to post very much about this because I think it's rather obvious. Also, my cat just started off the new year by peeing on my bed while I slept in it, so I have to deal with that now. :-(
Consequently, I'm reasoning that if a bird crapping on you is supposed to be good luck, a cat soaking your bed with pee on New Year's Day must be particularly auspicious, especially if she is a tortoiseshell cat. May you all get blessed today in a more pleasant way!

The Three of Wands from The Secret Tarot
This is absolutely the perfect card to come up for the first day of the new year. I think even a baby tarot reader will know what it's all about just by looking at the imagery. We are all looking out at the year stretched before us. It's expansive and unknown, but we still have ideas about what where we want to go. It's a time to make plans, changes, look for new opportunities and consider travel. Like the ocean in the card, there's no reason not to go big with these things.
It's also a reminder as we look ahead that things take time and consideration. and we're not going to accomplish all our goals all at once. If there were things that you wanted to complete in 2017, but got stuck, reassess and refocus. Break things into smaller pieces and make long term plans!
